I started producing and working as an MMJ for the 10 o'clock newscast in January 2023 as part of the News Production Practicum for Temple Update. The half-hour television newscast featuring our top local and national stories in the A-block and breaking news updates, such as election results, are essential to the Temple community for news. Operating as an MMJ reporter and assistant producer, I determine the order in which the stories are told, set up live shots for our reporters, write/change scripts, edit and assign reporter reads, and find ways where we can expand coverage.
