One of my earlier works as a high school journalist in media & communications involved doing a collaborative project with New York University for their second annual “Science Education Innovators Expo & Symposium.” As a high school student, I had the opportunity to interview and assist the producer in video editing. This event brought together science teachers, students, researchers, policymakers, journalists, corporate, and foundation professionals to share innovative methods for teaching science in undeserved schools.
