Shortly after a video of Montclair State University police arrested two people at gunpoint on the university campus went viral, concerns of excessive force made their way to the Student Government Association (SGA) and the university president Dr. Sunsan Cole. Police officers from the University Police Department attended the SGA’s first meeting with community leaders, responding to outraged parents and students who questioned the video’s events.
